Meet Shaquita
Shaquita is a mental wellness advocate, program leader, and community connector committed to creating meaningful impact. She currently serves as a Program Manager at Village Heartbeat, where she supports initiatives focused on mental health, engagement, and overall community well-being.
She holds a Master’s degree in Talent and Organization Development from Queens University, bringing a strong foundation in leadership, coaching, facilitation, and organizational effectiveness.
As Board Chair of Storm Sister Project, Shaquita plays a key role in helping shape the organization’s structure, strengthen its foundation, and guide its growth. Her passion for youth empowerment and mental wellness aligns deeply with the mission, ensuring girls are supported, seen, and equipped with the tools they need to grow and thrive.
As a mother of three, her commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces for the next generation is both personal and purposeful.
